2024 Chardonnay

"Yarra Valley Chardonnay is one of the gems of Aussie wine and this is an impressive example. It relies on the excellence of its pristine fruit, ably supported by the merest flick of oak. The colour is a straw/yellow and it is immediately obvious that the wine is still very youthful. There is real promise here. There are notes of stonefruits and figs, a flick of cashews and florals, with hints of white peach. A seamless and poised style with a line of fine acidity and good persistence, this will be even better in twelve months and drink well for the following four to five years."
