"It's wonderfully fruited with gorgeous complexity, showing Black Doris plum, raspberry, bouquet garni, game, and hazelnut aromas with a hint of dried mushrooms. The palate is concentrated and refined with terrific weight and drive, wonderfully framed by finely infused tannins, finishing impressively long and alluring."

"A year older than the other Pinots in the portfolio, it also has more weight, depth and complexity. A crimson/garnet hue, the nose has an array of aromas with dried herbs and spices, mushrooms, a little beefstock, cherries, aniseed, raspberries and garden vegetation. Even with the extra year under its belt, it is still a little reticent and we can expect this to have a long and exciting future. A wine of juicy acidity, medium length, sleek tannins and intensity for the full journey, it also offers a degree of finesse. Should impress for the next decade."

"Comes as a cleanskin, so likely not released for a while. Tasted alongside the Estate Pinot Noir 2023 for reference. Cherry, raspberry, spice, some floral perfume, a stony/earthy character to it. It’s medium-bodied, almond and cherry, compact tight and grainy tannin, fine cool feel to acidity, a slight orange peel bitterness, but the fruit here carries it well, and while there’s light biscuitty oak, it feels nicely done. Length is good. Excellent wine."

"Deeply and brightly coloured, this is a touch closed at present. The bouquet has some perfumed dark cherry and strawberry fruit together with a little orange peel and hedgerow. Firmly structured, with firm, grainy tannins, this is going to need at least another 12 months to soften and become more approachable."
