2021 Reserve Shiraz

"A first rate cool climate Shiraz from this very good season in the Yarra Valley. Dark plum and spicy black berry with a trace of espresso and black pepper. The palate is controlled and concentrated but with an effortlessness that extends to its sustained finish. A little dark chocolate and dusting of dried earthy complete a cracking wine."

"A medium deep, plummy red. This both gently perfumed and savoury with its aromas of red and black fruits, sage and white pepper together with a hint of freshly hung meat. Medium-bodied and quite linear on the palate before finishing with grippy, persistent tannins. Have this with food now or wait another 6-12 months for those tannins to soften just a tad more."
